Liccom Construction is proud to be delivering the Antigua Upland Development, contributing to a new chapter for cruise tourism on the St John’s waterfront.

Working with Antigua Cruise Port and Global Ports Holding, our team is helping create a destination that combines efficient passenger facilities with welcoming spaces for shopping, dining and leisure.

At the heart of the development is the new cruise terminal, officially opened in January 2026 to support Antigua’s growing homeporting operations. Beyond the terminal, colourful retail buildings and vendor kiosks bring a distinctly Caribbean character to the site, while the swimming pool and surrounding leisure area add a new dimension to the waterfront experience.

Delivering a development of this scale takes coordinated civil engineering, building construction and site infrastructure works. Our teams bring practical expertise and close collaboration to each stage, with a shared focus on quality, workmanship and safety.

As the wider development takes shape, we are proud to help create spaces that connect cruise visitors with local businesses and give residents new reasons to enjoy their waterfront. Another step forward in the development of Point Blanche Senior Luxury Condos ~ Bringing the vision closer to reality, one stage at a time.

At our Point Blanche Senior Homes project, an estimated 1,000m³ of backfill soil has already been placed behind the retaining wall.

We still have more filling to complete, but once the area reaches the required level, the team will move on to levelling and preparing the ground for the foundations.

With foundation works expected to begin in the coming weeks, the next major stage of construction is just around the corner!
